Tatiana "Tati" Osborne

The cat distribution system does not consult humans. It simply decides. Out of three candidates under consideration, Tatiana picked her person — and her person made a case for her anyway, as if there had ever been a real choice in the matter. The name was already spicy before anyone met the cat. It turned out to be exactly right.

Every Mile of It

Tati was there for all of it — breakups, moves, the good years and the hard ones, every mile of the road her person traveled. She'd ride along without complaint. The carrier, however, was another matter entirely. She wanted out, she wanted comfortable, and she made her position known at volume. For her own safety she'd eventually settle — but not before lodging the appropriate protest. A princess doesn't travel folded into a box without saying something about it.

Earned, Not Given

Tati's love was not a given. It was a verdict, delivered after careful consideration, and not everyone passed review. She had opinions about people, and she had no interest in hiding them — a raised eyebrow, a slow blink of disdain, a very clear side-eye for anyone who hadn't done the work. The people who did earn it got a love bug with a whole heart to offer. Everyone else got the message.

The Vet Situation

If Tati had one sworn enemy, it was the veterinary office. She made her feelings about it a matter of professional record with every visit, delighting the staff with a feisty streak that never once dimmed. When her first real health scare came, she was not interested in taking direction from just anyone — freshly graduated opinions need not apply. She had standards for that, too.

Her Own Terms

She was a princess with opinions, boundaries, and a personality too big for any one room. She kept things chill on her own terms, gave affection like currency, and never once pretended otherwise. She was spoiled, and deservedly so — the first real pet of someone who loved her without condition, for as many years as the world allowed.

She crossed the Rainbow Bridge on December 4th, 2025, and left behind a princess-shaped space nobody else will quite fill.

"Earn it." — Tati, to basically everyone, at least at first
